About the Wyoming Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts
We serve as ambassadors of The National Museum of Women in the Arts by advocating for women artists and arts professionals in Wyoming through statewide programming and educational outreach.
This volunteer committee will steer the process for Wyoming’s participation in the Women to Watch exhibition at the National Museum of Women in the Arts in 2024. The process includes raising the profile of the nominated artists and our guest curator around the state. We aim for our work to reach every corner of the state through a film we are producing to highlight our nominated artists, exhibitions, artists events, a podcast and more.

Founded by Lisa Fleischman
Lisa served on the National Advisory Board for the National Museum of Women in the Arts and founded the Wyoming Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts in 2021.
After Lisa and Chuck moved from Washington D.C. to Jackson Hole, it quickly became a passion of Lisa’s to extend NMWA mission’s to Wyoming, and to bring the talent of Wyoming women artists to the world through the programs of NMWA.
This committee is a legacy of Lisa’s leadership
